Norwood boosts Corona sales with CommSys deal

Telecommunications services provider Norwood Systems has inked an agreement with cloud services provider CommSys to deliver communications services using its Corona global trunk services platform.

Ovum doubts on Cisco 'Cius-only' strategy

Ovum has cast some doubt on what it calls Cisco's 'Cius-only' focus with the launch of its new app store service, AppHQ , and its potential to 'limit its utility and value'.  Acknowledging, however, that the seven-inch Android-based device, unlike the hugely popular Apple iPad, was designed with the company's existing customer base in mind, Ovum says it is destined to replace the corporate desktop feature phone that Cisco sells today.

Melbourne's Crown goes UC with Cisco and NetStar

The Crown Entertainment Complex in Melbourne is installing a unified communication system including 7500 IP handsets. The project is being carried out by NetStar Australia.
